We are back to in-person gatherings as of June for our Sunday services at 11:00am
As West End Worship Centre prepares and plans to have in-person gatherings again effective Sunday June 20, 2021, we will have the following protocols in place. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our members, guests and staff is the highest priority.
Reservations for weekly services via an online seating reservation link will be posted on the home page of our website, Registration link will be live every Tuesday at 12:00pm noon for the upcoming Sunday. Seating is capacity is limited and we will operate on a first come, first serve basis
We ask all members, guests and visitors to arrive at the church at 10:30am to allow our volunteers to welcome you, check you in and also for screening purposes.
Our corporate worship services will limit attendance to the capacity percentage outlined by the City of Toronto. (Currently the capacity is 15% as of June 2021)
In compliance with the City of Toronto bylaw, wearing a mask or face covering will be required in indoor public spaces beginning July 7, 2020. The mask or face covering should cover your nose, mouth and chin, without gaping. Wearing a mask or face covering is an additional measure we can take to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep each other safe. This means that, with some exceptions, all visitors entering an indoor premise are required to wear a mask or face covering while inside.
The sanctuary row seating will be arranged and adjusted in order to allow families to sit together and maintain physical distance from other individuals outside of their family while worshiping corporately.
Service attendees will be reminded to maintain physical distancing, including no hugging, hand shaking or physical touching via signage and announcements.
Ushers will direct attendees to their designated seating area.
All rows are adjusted for easy access and to maintain physical distancing.
Families are asked to ensure they are three (3) seats apart from others at all times.
All hymnals, extra bibles, envelopes and pamphlets will be removed from all rows.
The hallway is to be limited access for travelling and not congregating.
Communion will be administered using a pre-packaged communion set, and will be available for pickup upon entry to the sanctuary on the first Sunday of the month.
Contactless offering will take place at the end of the service and we will continue to encourage electronic giving. However, baskets will be provided at the front stage for contributions via cash and cheque.
All attendees will be encouraged to return to their vehicles immediately following the service. They will be discouraged from congregating in the building or in the parking lot as they leave.
All usable spaces and high touch surfaces will be sanitized immediately following the service.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our protocols, please contact us and we would be glad to speak with you
