New to West-End

Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL QUESTIONS
NEW TO WEST End

For some people, going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of an awkward experience. West-End is a safe haven. It's an emergency room for everyone that is hurting, lost, or simply seeking answers...spiritually.

"Come unto me, all ye  that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

Jesus ask that everyone come to Him.  NO MATTER WHAT, HE LOVES YOU, AND ACCEPTS YOU and we strive to live that spirit out in our everyday lives.

OUR WORSHIP

Worship lies at the heart of the Christian life. It is in worship that we express our theology and define our identity. It is through encountering God within worship that we are formed (and transformed) as his people.

WHAT TO EXPECT
When you visit us on sunday

You will be greeted with a warm welcome from the moment you step foot into West-End.  Our Sunday services begin with worship and music that is vibrant with a diversity of styles chosen to prepare your heart for what God has in store for you.

Children (pre-school and up) join the adults for praise and worship time; then, will be dismissed to their own age-specific Children Church upstairs.

Our Pastoral team will share a message based upon the Bible and relevant to our lives. Designed for people who are exploring Christianity as well as people who have been in the faith for some time and last about 40 minutes.

There is a nursery for nursing mothers and young babies located by the ladies washroom. Please ask an Usher or Usherette for directions.

If you are interested in becoming a member or simply looking for more information, please detached and fill out the CONNECT. GROW. SERVE connection card on the program and give it to any Usher/Usherette.

WHEN TO ARRIVE

Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before the start time of any service. That way you can check out the church and  have time to talk to some of our members.
