In this special Palm Sunday service, we were honoured to welcome Ms. Anna Bortsova from Chosen People Ministries Canada as she led us through a powerful presentation of “The Messiah in the Passover” through the symbolism of the Seder meal.

Drawing from the story of the widow in Mark 12:41–44, this message challenges us to examine not how much we give, but the heart and faith behind it—reminding us that God values selfless, wholehearted surrender over outward displays

Drawing from Matthew 6:1–4, the sermon challenges believers to examine the motives behind their generosity, urging them to give not for public praise but from a place of sincere love and obedience. When we give in secret with pure intentions, God sees—and He rewards openly.

This message is about having a heart ablaze for advancing God's kingdom. It emphasizes that giving is not just about money but about offering our time, talents, love, and compassion to others. When we give with a generous and willing heart, we reflect God's character, build up His kingdom, and push back the enemy's domain. The call is to live as Kingdom Builders—demonstrating kindness, forgiveness, and faithfulness—so that God's love overflows into the lives of others.

A healthy church inspires the next generation to excel by affirming their God-given identity, rejecting societal lies, and standing firm on biblical truth. Drawing from Genesis 1, Genesis 9, and Numbers 12, the sermon emphasizes that all people are created in God's image, challenges racial and cultural biases, and calls for a Christ-centered perspective on identity, purpose, and self-worth. Through this message, the church is encouraged to cultivate a culture that empowers young people to walk confidently in their faith and fulfill God's calling on their lives.
